A tax intern is a short-term entry-level paid position. Previous public accounting and specialized tax experience are not a requirement.
Working as a tax intern will give you valuable skills, hands-on experience, and knowledge as you move forward in your accounting career. Excellent performance in this position may open the door to possible advancement within our firm.
Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to read and understand common tax data
Experience:
- Work experience in tax and accounting field is a plus but not required
Education:
- Undergraduate student with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or within one year of completion of Bachelor’s in Accounting
Skills:
- Manages time efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, thorough, and efficient
- Must be highly detail-oriented
- Maintains a professional appearance and attitude
- Has a positive outlook and integrity
- Meets deadlines
- Must be a team player and work well with other employees in the firm
